Thai Yoga Massage
Thai Yoga Massage is an ancient Eastern healing technique used as a tool to awaken our spiritual flame and inner therapist. Using a combination of stretching, rocking, deep tissue, acupressure, the healer and receiver are fully clothed, on a soft mat on the floor for the duration of the massage. The practice is meant to open, relax and provide space for compassionate healing. Lilli holds a certification from the International Society of Thai Yoga Massage (Sunshine Network).
Curious about Cacao?
I source direct trade ceremonial grade cacao that can be used as a coffee substitute or as a daily or monthly intention-setting ritual.
-
The raw cacao plant is actually a seed found inside a large, textured fruit ranging in color from violet to pastel yellow. The seeds are hand-harvested, fermented, dried and roasted to produce cacao nibs. This dark, solid substance can be ground into a paste to make a ceremonial drink blended with a variety of herbs, spices and essences.
Whole Chuncho cacao beans are sustainably sourced from small farms in Peru. Each batch is intentionally blessed in ceremony with love and reverence for Mother Earth. The beans are then ground without any tempering to maintain the cacao butter and blended with trace amounts of panela, whole vanilla beans and chile powder.
Cacao is sacred plant medicine that invites us into heart-centered intention setting. It can be used as a coffee substitute, during meditation or in ceremony.

Recipe for 1 serving (prepare in a blender or in pot on stove, making sure not to let water boil):
8 oz hot water or substitute milk of your choice
4-5 tbsp cacao
Optional:
cinnamon to taste
cayenne to taste
coconut oil to taste
turmeric to taste
matcha powder to taste

Health Benefits of Cacao, in short:
theobromine - stimulates blood flow
antioxidants - diminish the presence of free radicals in the body
magnesium - an element 80% of Americans are deficient in
neurotransmitters - tryptophan, serotonin, etc. (the feel good hormones)
Keep in mind the health benefits of cacao will only be realized if you have at least equal parts (50%) fat to powder so the nutrients can be absorbed into the body.

“Lilli manages to strike a remarkable balance between being a personable guide and a wise leader within her work. During the entirety of the Thai massage session I felt incredibly relaxed not only by her obvious competency and skill but also by the friendly humor with which she navigated the new experience for me. Lilli combined recognizable Western kinesthetic vocabulary with Eastern application. The result was a teaching experience about my own body and places I wasn’t aware were held or immobilized by my own practice and patterns. I’d absolutely recommend anyone work with Lilli and hope to return for her services in the future!”

“My brain tells me I must have been in the zone near sleep [during yoga nidra] and I had evidence of body function improvement during sleep and after waking up. Lilli's voice slowly awakened me though I felt free enough to get up at my own pace As I was waking up at the end, my mind was separate from my so relaxed and almost not moving body. Also feel I have a lighter body that works better.”

'“It really felt like yoga was done to my body… I had a big boost of energy and definitely feel more mobility and strength. Kind of like limitations I had were broken and I have a sense of liberation.”
